Three Layouts, Twenty Rooms

Every room at the inn is one of three layouts. They share the same essentials — a bathroom of your own, free high-speed Wi-Fi and parking a few steps from the door — and differ mainly in how many queen beds are in them.

Single room with queen bed at Kluane Park Inn - Clean and comfortable accommodation
Sleeps 1–2

Single Room

One queen bed and a small bathroom with a glass shower. This is the room to take when you have been driving since Whitehorse and all you want is a hot shower, a dark quiet room and an early start — everything a night on the highway needs, and nothing you would pay for and not use.

Double room with two queen beds at Kluane Park Inn - Perfect for travelers
Sleeps 2–4

Double Room

Two queen beds and the same glass-shower bathroom, sleeping two to four. It is the most adaptable room we have: a bed each for two people splitting the driving, a spare bed for packs and damp jackets, or an easy fit for a couple travelling with a child or two.

Triple room with three queen beds at Kluane Park Inn - Ideal for families
Sleeps 4–6

Triple Room

Three queen beds and a compact bathroom, sleeping four to six. Families, hiking parties and small tour groups take this one so everybody stays together instead of splitting across two rooms — one key, one meeting point, one early start into the park.

What Comes With the Room

The extras that other highway stops charge for are simply part of the rate here. Dinner does not mean getting back in the car either — the restaurant and bar are on the same property, open from noon to midnight.

  • Free high-speed Wi-Fi

Throughout the property and inside the rooms, at no charge — enough to upload the day's photos or read up on tomorrow's trail.

  • Free parking

Right outside the building. No charge, no permit, no circling the block looking for a space.

  • Free breakfast, booked direct

Reserve by phone or through our own booking page and breakfast is included every morning of your stay.

  • Restaurant, bar and lounge

Chinese and Western cooking on site, open noon to midnight, with a lounge to sit in afterwards.

  • Laundromat and car wash

Both on the property, for the point in a long trip when the clothes and the windshield each need dealing with.

Before you arrive

Checking In and Out

Check-in opens at 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Highway driving rarely lands neatly inside those hours, so if you are running early or want a slower morning, ask — early check-in and late check-out are often possible, subject to what is free that day.

The hotel and the restaurant both run from noon to midnight. If you expect to pull in outside those hours, call ahead on (867) 634-2261 and we will make arrangements for you rather than leave you guessing at a locked door.

Travelling in an RV or towing a trailer instead? The RV park is on the same lot, and pets are welcome there — call us first if you would like to bring a pet into a hotel room.

Where you are

At the Gateway to Kluane

The inn stands at 996 Alaska Highway, 158 km west of Whitehorse, in Haines Junction — the gateway community for Kluane National Park and Reserve. The park visitor centre is a few minutes away, close enough to pick up a trail map after you check in and still be back for dinner.

Everything else a highway night calls for is already on the property: the restaurant and bar, a laundromat for a week of hiking clothes, and a car wash for whatever the Alaska Highway left on the truck. Park once, walk to all of it, and drive out in the morning with the tank of energy you came for.
